Update From Urs in Asia

Hi everyone! It's been a week now that we're out on tour again with our "Musical Affair" show. Just the first little step up the mountain - that's the way it always feels to me when I know I've got a year of travelling ahead. But if this tour continues the way it started, then we have got another unforgettable journey ahead.

Accompanying us on our adventure this time is Miss Lea Solonga who is a great artist and has not only got the most beautiful voice to listen to, she is also an absolutely delightful person to have around us: charming, witty, funny and professional. She brings a bit of a female touch to the party, which pleasantly softens the atmosphere in this normally so predominantly masculine world of touring. I'm really happy we will have her with us for the coming three months. For how her presence enriches us on as well as off the stage.

We kicked off the tour in Seoul, South Korea last Saturday night in front of an absolutely wonderful audience. We even did a second show in Korea this time round in the town of Kwang Ju. The way we were received by the Korean people was so heartwarming that I was sad to leave again after having been in the country for only three days.

Next stop: Japan! 10 shows in 5 cities, 4 nights sold out at the Budokan in Tokyo! I feel like a rock star when we play this part of the world. You get recognised wherever you go and get asked for pictures and autographs. But luckily the Japanese people are so friendly and polite that I never perceive them as intrusive or that they restrict my ability to enjoy my private time. We've played two great shows in Tokyo so far to a wonderful crowd and are now on the bullet train down to Nagoya.

Thanks to Korea and Japan for giving us a wonderful start to our new adventure. We couldn't have wished for better. And thank you to the rest of the world for inviting us again this year to come and bring our music to you. We've got such an amazing loyal fan base that allows us to keep doing what we love doing most: singing. Wherever we will come on our journey, be assured that we will always give you our very best, never take you for granted and try to make you as happy as we can with our voices our souls and our passion for music. We love you all! See you soon.
